God Is Calling All Believers Everywhere To Repent Of Their Sin

In the book of 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Word of God says, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

We are on the verge of another move of God, another great awakening. We must repent and turn from our wicked ways. All sin, rebellion, lawlessness, in thoughts, words, and deeds must be repented of and turned away from. We must acknowledge Jesus Christ has the Lord of our lives and count the cost of following Him by living lives that are surrendered to Him (Mark 8:34-38; Luke 14:26-27). The result of turning away from our sin and surrendering to Him will be lives that are committed to obedience to Him as the Lord of our lives. As Christians we must take a stand against sin, evil, and perversion here in America.

We must personally turn away from all sin, unrighteousness and wickedness in our own lives such as evil thoughts and desires, rebelliousness, lawlessness, selfishness, selfish ambitions, self centeredness, stubbornness, arrogance, conceit, pride, sinful attitudes, unforgiveness, resentfulness, bitterness, envy, jealousies, greediness, covetousness, idolatry, lust, malice, uncleanness, filthiness, lewdness, hatred, hypocrisy, deceitfulness, partiality, gossips, boasting, complaining, murmuring, grumbling, slandering, outbursts of wrath, lying, backbiters, strife, dissension, blasphemies, filthy language, obscenities, adultery, fornication, homosexuality, and all forms of sexual immorality, murder, abortion, stealing, contentions, partying, drunkenness, drugs, sorceries, and witchcraft.

The Lord is calling us as believers to humble ourselves and repent of our wicked ways and He will heal our land. However, we must examine ourselves to see where we are at spiritually (2 Cor. 13:5). Are we walk in obedience, living righteous lives in all holiness and godliness by walking before the Lord in love both toward Him and our fellow man? Are we maintaining a good conscience before the Lord or are we coming up short? Read 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, now let’s look at 2 Cor. 7:1, "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Now is the time for Christians across America and all over the world to rise up and take a stand and call for true repentance of sin and turning away from all sin. And turning back to God to pursue righteousness, holiness, and godliness.
